Internet Arcade

The game I decided to play was a Pacman game, it was difficult to understand the controls at first and it took me awhile to maneuver how to navigate within the game. However, once I got the hang of it, I was able to understand the mechanics and play the game properly. The experience was fun, and I kept trying to play muliple rounds to see if I could get a better score. I also found that the music helped immerse me in the experience, and it had a classic arcade feel to it. In the end, I managed to get a score I was okay with, but I think I could do better if I kept practicing over time.

I would say that the largest difference between playing on an emulator and on a proper arcade machine or console is the experience. I think that playing in an arcade machine or console can provide a certain feeling of nostalgia and experience that an emulator simply can't provide. One of the biggest noticeable changes is the controls, when you play on an emulator you must use keyboard controls which don't give the same experience compared to if you were to use the controls on an arcade machine. This ends up ruining part of the immersion in gameplay when playing on an emulator.
